FAQ
Q: Why not an universal application instead of two different?
A: Thinking of iPhone users we designed a specific version considering the smaller screen. If it became universal, it would introduce a large overload significantly increasing the application size. Therefore we opted for releasing two application versions at a reduced price

Q: The markers of the map are not located in the place where the fossils were found. Why?
A: Those markers are just an orientative approximation; they are situated in the official coordinates for each country. As there are many markers grouped together in some map areas, we have defined regions grouping some countries together

Q: What is the meaning of the line showing the trackway for the Pteranodon?
A: It shows the flight profile that might have been followed by the Pteranodon, based on its wingspan and the flight type that corresponds to its morphology, representing the wing flapping between gliding periods.

Q: In the index, when I sort by width or height some dinos have a question mark. Why?
A: The question mark appears when there is no data for the dinosaur width of height.

Q: When comparing a lot of dinosaurs in the extended view, all of them disappear!
A: The iPad memory is limited, when it is full all dinosaurs being compared are reset to free memory.

Q: I have found and error in the application, How can I tell you so it gets fixed?
A: The best way to inform us of errors and suggestions is to send an email to the address: support(at)idinobook.com (replace "at" prior to send the email)

Q: I have a dinosaur picture better than the ones appearing on the album, Could I include it in iDinoBook?
A: Any contribution to help us to improve the application is always welcome. If you have good pictures and you don't mind sharing them with other iDinoBook users we'll be happy to include them, and to give you credit for it. Those pictures must be of your property and you must authorize us to use them (an email is enough authorization).
